Downs In Motion Fund

A Fund of

Downs in Motion was founded by Edith and Gabriel Lujan.  They are the parents of four children, and their son Angel has down syndrome. The mission of the fund is to build strong meaningful relationships through social, physical, and educational activities while staying connected with other families throughout our community.  Downs in Motion comprises several families that are working together to provide programming, social activities, and support for young people with downs syndrome and other intellectual disabilities.  They have already established several programs  including basketball and karate classes, but their main effort is to be Connect Group for young people with down syndrome providing friendship and platform to their life and build community. 

They are faith based and affiliated with Abundant Living Faith Center.
