Thanks to the generosity of the Marathon Petroleum Foundation, the Playa Drain Trail continues to evolve as a safe avenue for our community. In addition to providing residents with safe options for walking and biking, the Playa Drain Trail is also home to native species, such as burrowing owls. These owls make their habitats in the drain and also walk along the trail! Marathon Petroleum Foundation's support has also contributed to the design and engineering of the Zoo to the Alameda Trail segment, which will enhance trail events.
