Meet our Board Member - Allison Glass
Allison Glass is a board member of the Paso del Norte Community Foundation and has served as chair for the Communications Committee for the Paso del Norte Community Foundation and Paso del Norte Health Foundation for the past two-years.
Ms. Glass is a consultant with The Raben Group. Prior to joining The Raben Group, Ms. Glass worked as the Finance Director for Veronica Escobar, then a candidate for the 16th Congressional District. As Finance Director, Ms. Glass communicated broadly with constituents in the district and led events, rallies, debates and meet & greets for their candidate. She has extensive experience with storytelling, as she worked for several nonprofit and for-profit organizations throughout the country in the communications and marketing environment. Her knowledge of cause-advocacy, social media and communications has been an asset for the Community Foundation.
While relatively new to the city, hailing from McAllen, Texas, Ms. Glass immediately fell in love with the people of the El Paso, who were so welcoming and eager to show her so many great aspects of the city. Ms. Glass became involved with the Paso del Norte Community Foundation because of its mission to improve the health of the community through charitable giving. She has tremendous respect for the foundation’s founding and existing board members who built up the foundation and have given back so much to our region. There are many ways for the community to get involved – at all levels – which she believes is incredibly important.
In 2017, Ms. Glass and her husband, Lane Gaddy, served as the honorary chairs of the foundation’s inaugural gala to benefit the foundation and its work, and Ms. Glass will serve on the gala’s planning committee again this year. Ms. Glass and Mr. Gaddy are both part of a new generation of leaders who are stepping up and sharing their plans for the city they love. Together, they have one child and are excited to welcome another one this year.
