Andrea works alongside the Paso del Norte Community Foundation (PdNCF) development team. She is responsible for a range of development activities including growing the assets of the Foundation through fundraising, cultivating and stewarding relationships with corporate partners as well as current and future donors. Notably, Andrea manages the Foundation's diverse scholarships portfolio and spearheads the PdNCF's nonprofit investment projects focused on capacity-building for nonprofit organizations in the region; the projects include the annual Nonprofit Conference, El Paso Giving Day, Power, Purpose, Plan: Fund Development training, and an intern matching program.

Born and raised in El Paso, Andrea attended The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) earning a Masters in Public Administration with a concentration in Public Policy & Management as well as a Certificate in Nonprofit Administration and Governance. She is a member of Pi Alpha Alpha, the Global Honor Society for Public Affairs & Administration, and was awarded the Outstanding Public Service Award in 2023.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Andrea worked in fund development, marketing, and public relations at the El Paso Museum of Art and was formerly a writer for The City Magazine. Additionally, Andrea serves on the Master of Public Administration of UTEP Advisory Board and is participating in Leadership El Paso - Class 45. When she is not working, Andrea is often found spending time with family and friends.
