The Paso del Norte Health Foundation recognized the work of four regional health leaders for their collective work in educating youth, implementing policy, innovating new evidence-based strategies and efforts to establish a smoke-free culture in the region.

Also, congratulations to the County of El Paso, which included the El Paso County Commissioners Court, County Commissioner David Stout, and the County Economic Development Department, in collaboration with the Paso del Norte Institute for Healthy Living at UTEP and the American Heart Association on creating the first Healthy Food Financing Initiative.
